The newly built Ashgabat Olympic Stadium takes centre stage in the Ashgabat Olympic Complex featuring a modern design which pays homage to the revered symbol of Turkmenistan – the Ahal Teke horse.
The Main Indoor Arena is the largest competition venue on the Ashgabat Olympic Complex with a capacity of 15,000. Located in the south of the AOC, the venue with host three combat sports; Wrestling, Belt Wrestling and Traditional Wrestling. In April 2017, the venue hosted an exhibition basketball event with a Harlem Wizards performance followed by a Turkmenistan v Turkey match.
The Taekwondo DanceSports Arena is located in the south of the Ashgabat Olympic Complex. The venue will host the Taekwondo and DanceSports competitions and has a capacity of 1,000.
The Billiard Sports Arena is located in the south of the Ashgabat Olympic Complex. The venue will host the Billiard Sports competition and has a capacity of 1,000.
The Martial Arts Arena is located in the south of the Ashgabat Olympic Complex. The MAA will host the Sambo, Ju Jitsu and Kurash competitions and has a capacity of 5,000. The MAA has hosted numerous events in 2016, including Asian Ju Jitsu Championships, International Belt Wrestling Championships and the Asian Sambo Championship. As part of the Inspiring Ashgabat test event series in April 2017, the MAA hosted the Asian Kickboxing Championships.
The Muaythai Ju Jitsu Arena is located in the south of the Ashgabat Olympic Complex. The MK1 will host the Muaythai and Kickboxing competitions and has a capacity of 861.
The Weightlifting Arena is located in the south of the Ashgabat Olympic Stadium. The venue will host the Weightlifting competition and has a capacity of 861. In April 2017, the Weightlifting Arena hosted the Senior Asian Weightlifting Championships, as part of the Inspiring Ashgabat Test Event Series.
The Aquatics Centre is located in the north of the Ashgabat Olympic Complex. AQC will host the Short Course Swimming competition and has a capacity of 5,000. In April 2017, the Aquatics Centre hosted the Central Asian Short Course Swimming Tournament as part of the Inspiring Ashgabat Test Event Series.
The Indoor Tennis Centre is location in the north of the Ashgabat Olympic Complex. The venue will host the Tennis competition and has a capacity of 4,000. In September 2016, the Indoor Tennis Centre hosted an International Tennis event in preparation for the 5th AIMAG.
The Velodrome is located just south of the Ashgabat Olympic Stadium. The venue will host the Track Cycling and has a capacity of 6,000.
The 3x3 Basketball Arena is located in the north of the Ashgabat Olympic Complex. The venue will host the 3x3 Basketball competition and has a capacity of 2,000.
The Indoor Athletics Arena is located in the north of the Ashgabat Olympic Complex (AOC). The Indoor Athletics Arena will host the Indoor Athletics competition and has a capacity of 5,000. In September 2016, the Indoor Athletic Arena hosted an international test event.
The Bowling Centre is located in the north of the Ashgabat Olympic Complex. The venue will host the bowling competition and has capacity of 500.
The Chess Centre is located in the north of the Ashgabat Olympic Complex. The venue will host the Chess competition and has a capacity of 500.
